Temperature screeners will be responsible to screen all employees and visitors who are entering site. The intent is to help building and facility security teams control the potential spread of COVID-19 in the workplace by checking those who wish to enter for signs of respiratory illness accompanied by fever (100.4°F or 38°C).
Measure temperatures with non-contact medical grade thermometers
At the temp station – scan everyone that comes through the turn stile or through the gate and provide them with a face mask.
Temp Screeners are responsible for maintaining and sanitizing their work/test area and may be asked to help with other duties during down time.
Sanitizers will focus on cleaning and disinfecting public spaces such as vending machines, doors, lockers, timeclocks
Goal: Minimize the health risk to Butterball employees
HOURS TO BE DETERMINED AT INTERVIEW
3rd shift-Sunday-Thursday 10pm-7:00 am with posssible weekends
3rd shift-Sunday-Thursday 12:00 am-9:00 am with possible weekends
Working Conditions
Temperature fluctuations from hot (ambient outside temperature during summer) to very cold (40 degrees Fahrenheit to ambient outside temperature during winter)
Damp-to-wet conditions in the area
Loud/noisy environment (86 – 99 dB)
Work with or around chemicals/fumes/pungent odors
Mandatory overtime or weekend work
There is mandatory seasonal work for approximately 5 to 6 weeks during the months of October and November, which includes working 7 days per week
Temp Screener PPE Requirements
Temp Screeners should wear clothing appropriate for business. Casual attire and comfortable shoes.
Temp Screeners will be provided with the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
Approved Personal Protective Equipment is:
Eye Protection – Safety glasses, goggles, or face shields
Hand Protection – Nitrile gloves
Smock, tyvex overall or similar to protect clothing
Respiratory Protection – N95 respiratory mask
(1) N95 mask per week unless told otherwise - (N95 masks are to be store in a marked and sealed container)
Minimum Qualifications
•No minimum education requirement
•No previous work experience required
•Must be at least eighteen (18) years old
•Must be eligible to work legally in the United States
