The Live Operations Supply Clerk contributes to the company profitability objectives by ensuring accurate inventory for Live Operations materials.


  • Unload trucks (using forklift, hand truck, or by hand) and accurately receive the items in electronic inventory system (SAP)
  • Pick and pack orders according to order requests by farms (using forklift, hand truck, or by hand)
  • Perform inventory cycle counts (daily/weekly/monthly), investigate any discrepancies, and work with team for resolution
  • Work with Live Operations Warehouse team to ensure and maintain 95% or above accuracy rate for month end inventory cycle count
  • Support and work closely with Live Operations Service Persons to provide needed supplies
  • Deliver supplies to farms by safely driving Butterball owned truck

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Self-starter and comfortable working both independently and in a group/team setting
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks without direct supervision
  • Strong customer service skills including ability to provide diligent, prompt, and courteous responses to questions and supply needs
  • Must be able to exhibit strong verbal communication and organizational skills
  • MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • SAP experience (preferred but not required)
  • Forklift / Hand truck experience (preferred but not required)
  • Previous Warehouse / Inventory experience (preferred but not required)
  • Fluently ready, write and speak English

Additional Responsibilities (if applicable)

  • Attend daily/weekly meetings as required
  • Keep warehouse area clean and organized
  • Work safely at all times and where personal protective equipment when necessary
  • Other duties as required

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED

Work/Physical Requirements

  • Lifting heavy objects to pull orders – up to 50 lbs.
  • Climbing ladders to reach objects on shelves
