Job Summary:

The Process Support Coordinator ensures accurate meat usage data within computerized inventory tracking system.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Runs reports for use by operations leaders and to validate inventory accuracy

  • Reviews all production paperwork and electronic entries related to meat usage

  • Compares paper data and electronic information to identify discrepancies and correct information

  • Makes adjustments in the electronic inventory system on AS400 to ensure accurate inventory reporting of meat usage

  • Communicates with production supervisors and employees on standard operating procedures for using scales and scanning product focusing on accuracy, errors, and correct procedures

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills including MS office

  • Working knowledge AS400 and inventory management systems helpful

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to solve routine problems and escalate as needed

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and within a team based environment

Education & Experience: 

  • Associate degree Supply Chain, a plus

  • Prior experience in or process control, production accounting or Materials Resource Planning (MRP) helpful

  • Experience in food manufacturing preferred
