Job Summary:
The Occupational Health Services LPN provides onsite promotion and restoration of health and the prevention/treatment of illness and injury.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interacts positively and professionally with applicants, employees and leaders pertaining to OHS services and functions
- Provide medical care and first aid in accordance with Protocols and Standing Orders within the scope of practice for licensure
- Provide health appropriate evaluations and treatment for work and non-work related injuries and illnesses
- Assist with case management strategies for work related injuries and illnesses
- Aids in the coordination of medical claims adjusters, medical providers, workers’ compensation
- Maintains accurate documentation and assists in departmental medical records upkeep
- Serve as part of the on-call weekend/holiday rotation for OHS
- Participate in Safety, Health Services, and Human Resources projects within the facility

- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively with management, front-line leaders and employees
- Occasional time in the processing/ production area
- Ability to function in a fast paced/ changing environment with multiple demands at one time
- Detail oriented and organized
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
Education & Experience:
- Current unrestricted LPN (License Practical Nurse) license to practice professional nursing in North Carolina or a compact state required
- Current certification in First Aid, CPR and AED required
- 1 year experience in health care preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
