Job Summary: This Corporate IT position will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining IT services at one or more Butterball locations, including Manufacturing Plants, Feed Mills, Live Operations, Sales / Corporate Offices, and others.  Success in this role requires a broad understanding of Information Technology concepts and the ability to successfully work without direct supervision.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain technical/process documentation related to user or system design specifications.

  • Self-starter and comfortable with working independently while providing timely and accurate status reports.

  • Ability to work with the customer in difficult situations by balancing technical knowledge and people skills.

  • Strong business acumen - ability to understand the impact of IT on different parts of the business.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks without direct supervision.

  • Multi-tasking abilities, along with ability to work well under pressure, prioritize and meet tight deadlines.

  • Must be able to work independently in fast-paced environment and exhibit strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Strong customer service and prompt solving skills including the ability to provide diligent, prompt, and courteous responses to users question or computer/network issues.

  • Ability to adapt to different environments, across all functions, and at all levels of the business.

  • Knowledge of industry-standard desktop imaging processes such as SCCM.

  • Experience with IT incident ticketing systems for managing and prioritizing requests

Education & Certification: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology plus one year working experience -or- at least 5 years working experience/certification in IT required.

  • CompTIA A+ Certification preferred.

  • ITIL training and/or certification preferred.

Special Position Requirements:

  • Position may require local travel up to approximately 20% of the time.

Work/Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting 25% of the time viewing a computer monitor.
  • Remaining time involves works requiring: bending, stooping, lifting up to 35 lbs, walking, standing, climbing, twisting, reaching, and stretching on a daily basis.
