Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator role supports, assists, and administers various human resources processes/procedures. Primary support will be with the recruitment of hourly plant positions.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
Recruitment Activities
- Post and maintain job requisitions in the applicant tracking system.
- Coordinate various internal and external advertising to include newspapers, social media, flyers, etc
- Screen applications and update status in applicant tracking system as needed
- Schedule interviews and coordinate internal communications to OHS
- Interview candidates and make job offers according to hiring protocol.
- Verification of I-9’s and employment authorizations and monitors renewal of employment authorizations.
- Maintain reporting and logs
- Process employee applications for internally posted jobs and coordinate interview process with hiring manager
- Maintain applicant and new hire data and files
HR Support Activities
- Plan and coordinate employee activities
- Provide translations to written and verbal communications
- Maintain various communications boards in employee welfare areas
- Assist employees with questions and form requests
- Various clerical activities - phone calls, emails, filing, etc

- Ability to be flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs
- Proficient with various MS applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively with front-line leaders and employees
- Detail oriented and organized
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Digital / social media savvy a plus
- Bilingual (English / Spanish), preferred
Education & Experience:
- HS diploma required, further education a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
- 1-2 years prior administrative or recruiting experience strongly preferred
