Resposibilities:

Delegate areas of concern to designated associates to ensure they are sanitized and cleaned daily.  Coordinate information given to associates by working closely with Supervisor.  Ensure all information given to include company standards, USDA regulations, etc. Keep associates informed of Safety Regulations while performing job tasks.  Maintain inventory through audits and ensure that reorders are standard items that are required.  Assists in maintaining associate welfare.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains supply inventory; verifies inventory levels by checking shelves, notifies supervisor as to replacement needs or places orders as appropriate.
  • Ensures that stock inventories and stockroom are maintained, utilizing computers, Ipad and scanners. 
  • Follow up on orders placed, receivables, and stores supplies in warehouse or supply room.
  • Reviews incoming order forms for proper coding, quantities requested, and authorized approvals by Supervisor. 
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and positive rapport with vendors.
  • Ensures General housekeeping responsibilities (sweeping, dusting, wiping tables, etc.) are completed.
  • Communicate issues of concern to Supervisor
  • Monitor associates to ensure that the proper PPE for the job delegated
  • Follow up with associates to ensure the assignment is understood properly
  • Provide proper tools to make sure all associates are successful with their assigned tasks.

Knowledge, Skill & Abilities:

  • Proactive and self-motivated individual that can work in a fast paced environment.

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to receive, track accurately and distribute materials, supplies and equipment
  • Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
  • May require strenuous physical work; reaching overhead, heavy lifting, pushing or pulling required o objects over 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to obtain electric pallet jack license.
  • Flexible scheduling and ability to fill other shifts occasionally as needed
  • Ability to read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures.
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • Contribute in Safety meetings with associates
  • Aid in Fire Drills
  • Assist in cleaning the Supply Room
  • Ability to work flexible hours and/or weekends
  • Have good attendance and safety record, ability to train new associates
  • Previous demonstrated leadership ability preferred

Education & Experience

  • Experience in using SAP and AS400 preferred

  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and inventory control preferred
