Job Summary:

This position is an entry level position which is responsible for processing Feed Mill Accounts Payable invoices, Grower Payments, Feed Ingredient and Freight Invoices for two mills as well as posting feed delivery tickets and feed transfers daily.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Match Ingredient tickets to Vendor Invoices/PO’s in MTECH for Grain and Commodities

  • Post Ingredient Invoices in M-Tech

  • Post all invoices for Farmville Feed Mill and various invoices for Live Ops departments in SAP

  • Assist Vendors with questions regarding invoices

  • Collect and scan to server in an organized manner outside feed purchase tickets daily

  • Process brooder and finishing payments in SAP, coordinate with payables on check printing

  • Post Farmville Feed Mill delivery tickets for Butterball and outside sales.

  • Post Feed transfers & haulbacks as needed.

  • Reconcile and post invoices in SAP for contract feed hauling

  • Update Feed Prices in M-Tech for External Mills

  • Post Organic feed in M-Tech and pay Organic feed Invoices in SAP.

  • Filing of Invoices

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Self-motivated team player.

  • Excellent attendance and personnel record.

  • Above average clerical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and MTECH

  • Excellent time management, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Able to successfully multi-task

  • Possess people skills and able to maintain control of disruptive and confidential situations.

  • Dependable and punctual.

Education & Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a field related to Business/Accounting preferred

  • 2 years of office experience required
