Accounting Yield/Cost Analyst

Job Summary:

Review Production Yield Reports. Perform Further Processing cost analysis and prepare performance reports.  Data from manual production records and the SAP Process Order and Inventory Control Systems will be analyzed for accuracy and then used to prepare the daily/weekly/monthly reports in Excel.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare Weekly Yield reports as necessary
• Assist the Accounting Manager with:
  • Provide support for CI projects
  • CER ROI analysis
  • Product Costing
  • Annual budgets
  • Activity based costing
• Review data for potential cost reductions in all operations
• Prepare and review actual versus standard reports
• Provide oversight for all finished goods and WIP inventory programs
• Assist with Month End activities
• Conduct department Safety Meetings/Training
• Backup Payroll and the Accounting Manager as needed

Education & Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration with advanced training in accounting.
• Four to five years of related accounting experience.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
