Job Summary: 

The Leader designs, plans, implements and facilitates training and leadership development classes, programs, assessments, and tools. This position will be responsible for maintaining effective leadership development resources and programs, including continuous improvement of existing content. The Leader is a collaborative leader with excellent business acumen, who is both creative and has high attention to detail.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design and facilitate quality scalable strategies to help create high performing teams
  • Assess various training and development needs and make recommendations on which to use
  • Align leadership training with Butterball overall business goals with a focus on quality
  • Collaborate with Corporate on developing succession planning and training
  • Remain current on leadership and learning trends and proactively pursue cost-effective, innovative options
  • Serve as program manager for training
  • Lead idealization and creation of non-training related development tools such as building a feedback and coaching culture, ensuring tools for developing on the job, and building mentoring capabilities
  • Work with stakeholders to understand desired business outcomes and build a plan into each learning project for evaluating the successful achievement.
  • Ensure the right method of learning is used to meet the need such as Instructor Lead Training  assessments, programs, experiential learning, etc.
  • Facilitate interactive, hands-on classes and programs using expert, engaging facilitation skills to create an enriching experience for the leaders
  • Partner with internal facilitators and presenters, and external facilitators (as needed) to deliver high-quality, well-organized leadership development solutions
  • Manage the execution of leadership development programs including communications, invitation process, program logistics, materials development, and program delivery
  • Determine and report on metrics for performance, trends, opportunities
  • Create and maintain virtual and physical libraries for further development
  • Work with internal partners to obtain and report on learning-related data
  • Build and maintain effective business relationships with key stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:

Required

  • Five plus (5+) years of experience creating, facilitating and running training programs with forward focused training techniques
  • Experience with a variety of assessment tools
