Job Description

This position plays a significant role in achieving application goals through direct response lead generation campaign planning, media buying, performance measurement, and ensuring overall top of funnel demand is being generated through appropriate channels and spend for hourly and exempt level roles. You will be digging into the data to deliver short term results measured against clear performance objectives. This role will continually assess channel and media spend effectiveness for each location and be charged with ensuring budgets are being fully utilized. Market intelligence, research, and engaging cross-functionally to understand the shift in hourly candidate behavior as well as plant posting behavior will be key to understanding and driving successful recruitment marketing outcomes.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

Recruitment Marketing and Lead Generation

  • Collaborate with leaders amongst multiple business units to understand and drive the Butterball brand through content creation, overseeing the careers website and social media platorms
  • Design and execute omnichannel direct/indirect recruitment marketing campaigns including programmatic (job boards), paid search, paid social, organic social, emails (list rentals and through CRM), geofenced display advertising, native advertising, gas pump media, billboards, bus benches, yard signs, job fairs, etc.
  • Track, measure, and report on campaign results (Content Engagement, CPC, CPA, CPH – on RM basis), etc.
  • Identify the tactics and platforms that will be most effective in reaching a specified target audience
  • Create and implement strategies for building a talent network/talent community
  • Lead the design, implementation, and analysis of key performance indicators, metrics, scorecards, and communication processes that effectively translate strategy into action goals and performance objectives.
  • Strong focus on KPIs as add-to-app, add-to-app-to-hire, cost per click, cost per application, etc.
  • Use data driven, fact-based decisions to maximize recruitment dollar spend that aligns with short term and long-term team and enterprise goals.
  • Strategically and constantly monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks in support of recommending relevant tactics and strategies, as well as delivering measurable impacts.
  • Optimize channel and advertising spend to meet monthly application and budget goals for both corporate and plant positions.
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices in talent acquisition and recruitment marketing; use that knowledge to identify, analyze, recommend, and implement new processes, programs, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline the organization and its use of resources and materials.

Employer Branding and Social Media

  • In conjunction with TA leadership and marketing drive strategic vision that is in alignment with the voice of the customer to increase operational performance and drives continuous improvement.
  • Plan and implement recruitment marketing campaigns to bring the employer brand strategy to life and in order to attract high-quality applicants
  • In conjunction with TA and Marketing, oversee company’s career site (hub) and related employer brand spokes (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
  • Communicate regularly with Marketing/PR teammates to align on messaging, creative and channel approach to recruitment
  • Develop and distribute social media guidelines for enterprise.
  • Create engaging job descriptions as per previously developed standards
  • Monitor Glassdoor and other job boards/employer review sites and plan/execute activities for engaging reviewers and increasing feedback scores
  • Generating day to day content that exemplifies our work life (For example blogs, videos, graphic designs, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of employer branding strategies and recruitment marketing with emphasis on producing measurable results
  • Experience in recruitment marketing analytics and reporting
  • Experience leveraging recruitment marketing tactics to generate high quality candidates in high-volume hiring environment
  • Experience in developing creative marketing campaigns and communications to enhance awareness of company culture.
  • Excellent understanding of recruitment processes and candidates’ selection methods
  • Strong understanding of the digital space and ability to create compelling messages.
  • Proven ability to anticipate and identify emerging trends in how people connect and communicate, and the implications for a global, multi-generation employee base.
  • Proven project management experience with problem solving and prioritizing skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
  • Graphic design skills a major plus (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Final Cut Pro, Premier Pro, etc.)
  • Experience with Phenom TXM is a plus

Education & Experience: 

  • 2+ years of experience in building & executing marketing communications strategies across multiple channels for various audiences
  • 2+ years of experience as a Recruitment Marketing Specialist
  • Bachelor’s degree in a marketing or communications-related field
