Job Description

As Manager of Employee Experience you will be a developer, program manager, practitioner and always a catalyst as you plan, build and execute engagement, change and communication practices that touch all of our Butterball team members! Employee Engagement - Empower the Employee Experience

  • Build an organizational employee engagement strategy and framework; lead the implementation of new programs related to the strategy and framework.
  • Develop an employee listening system to ensure we are listening and learning from our employees. 
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to build a compelling Talent Brand that energizes our internal and external communities.

Change Enablement - Helping Everyone Move Forward

  • Understand our business and our priorities; build relationships and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Design, develop and implement change enablement strategies and plans to support strategic transformation across HR and the organization.
  • Work across diverse teams and guide our internal stakeholders through best and relevant change management practices.

Internal Communications - The Vehicle

  • Develop and execute strategic employee communication plans that inspire and connect our employees, enable organizational change and business initiatives.
  • Develop a community engagement model for internal communication; develop strong and holistic  partnerships with our external and brand communication functions.
  • Craft thoughtful, innovative and engaging messaging that resonates throughout the company and brings Butterball's mission, values and priorities to life.
  • Develop and utilize diverse and relevant communication methods and channels; bring a fresh, bold and creative “digital fluency” to the work and ensure we have a consistent and engaging voice and message across all communications.
  • Provide direction and guidance on message content and delivery to your stakeholders; support and deliver key leadership communication events (ex. State of the Business).

Organization Effectiveness Measures - How We Know

  • Evaluate engagement, change enablement and communications efficacy; establish and track program metrics that measure business impact through increased engagement and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage internal processes and protocols to optimize delivery and enhance our partnerships across the organization
  • Drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of relevant organizational effectiveness work experience that can include disciplines such as engagement, employee development and change. Work experience must also include communication as a core component of the role.
  • Direct experience with employee engagement strategies and change management practices
  • High quality writing and content development (with samples to share)
  • Internal communication methodologies, tools and vehicles
  • Bachelor degree in HR, OD, Communications, Journalism or related field
