HR Recruiter

Overview

We are looking for multidimensional HR Recruiter to augment our talent acquisition team.  The responsibilities for this position include posting jobs online, sourcing candidates, screening candidates, setting up interviews, extending offers and completing all post offer activities.  The ideal candidate must have proven track record managing the full cycle recruitment process for hourly and salaried employees in a manufacturing environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Achieves hourly and salaried talent acquisition initiatives through the hiring of highly qualified candidates in the timeliest and most cost-effective manner possible while meeting legal/affirmative action requirements.
  • Establishes recruiting requirements by working closely with Butterball’s management team.
  • Builds applicant pools using various search strategies/techniques including searching for events and attending community events which provide viable recruiting opportunities.
  • Verification and completion of I-9's and background checks
  • Provides daily/weekly recruitment reports to management team.
  • Assist with orientations for new employees 
  • Any additional assignments as provided

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or similar field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of professional level recruiting experience required.

  • Knowledge of recruitment software and database systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to conduct interviews over the phone and via live chat.

  • A working knowledge of employment law and legislation

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.  The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision and ability to adjust focus.
