Job Description


The purpose of the Operations Specialist role is to provide tier 1 and tier 2 (transactional and non-transactional) support to our talent groups in areas of program administration, maintaining HR content, data maintenance and transactions, as well as process and work instructions development. The HR Operations Specialist becomes a subject matter expert in areas of scope.


  • Minimum 3 years related experience in one or more areas of human resources, communications, project management or training.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using HRIS systems and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Verifiable writing proficiency


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Experience supporting multiple corporate business or HR functions
  • Exposure to project management tools and principles



Learning Group Support

  • Schedule and manage training class logistics for learning programs. Manage training collateral, clicker technology and participant materials.
  • Manage Learning Management System (LMS) administration including class postings, recordkeeping and data maintenance.
  • Manage educational reimbursement administration
  • Manage enterprise orientation collateral while supporting corporate orientation for support function.


Internal Communications Support

  • Support digital signage and content management across the enterprise
  • Support state of the business meetings and other employee engagement forums
  • Review and post company communications and announcements ensuring use of templates and alignment with brand requirements.
  • Update team member spotlights

  • Benefits Issue Resolution

Other Duties as assigned and the following:

Completion of employment verifications. All duties include documenting processes and work instructions for every support activity.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management acumen.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Proficiency in reporting metrics/data analytics

Level of Independence: Operates with moderate direction and once acclimated to projects and work scope, higher degree of independence.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.  The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision and ability to adjust focus. Up to 10% travel and valid Driver’s License required.
