HR Coordinator
Location: Huntsville Department: Human Resource
Reports to: HR Manager Shift: Nights
Hourly/Salaried: Hourly FLSA status: Non-exempt
Job Summary:
Perform onboarding for all new employees.
Make initial contact with applicants to schedule interviews
Prepare orientation materials
Conduct orientation classes. Ensure all orientation content is current and makes a quality first impression
Review new employee documents as needed, and assist with associate functions.
Assist associates with benefits questions
Act as a backup and assistant to the other functions in the Department
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
Enter into SAP all HR related entries
Assist with personnel record keeping
Assist with employee verifications
Enter information for background screenings
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to prepare documents and spreadsheets
Knowledge of plant operations
Computer experience with Microsoft Office preferred
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
1+year experience in HR related work preferred
Bilingual (required)
Additional Responsibilities:
Serves on VPP committee
Assists with Plant celebrations and events
